This is a bit old fashioned, but visiting thrift sales can be a great way to find stuff to make money online.

My wife and I are doing a benefit thrift sale and someone donated a ton of books, but after looking up the books online we realized that you could end up making some pretty good money online with them.

One book was going for $250 and we were like – let’s sell it!

So, if you are good at this which may take some time – you can go to garage and thrift sales and begin to see what would make money online. This concept is not new by any means but I think sometimes we forget that if we find some good stuff for cheap you really can resell it for profit online if you know what you are doing.

If you are really good and excited about this sort of thing you could open up your own store where people can drop off their stuff and then you sell it for them on ebay and they get a portion and so do you.

You should also be able to get plenty of information on how to open up one of these places. Before jumping into a franchise I highly consider trying to do one yourself with your own advertising efforts to see how it goes before taking a deep commitment financially.
