It’s true. I think many people can simply make money online by blogging about themselves.

Each person is unique and therefore has unique stories and interesting things that happen to them and it facinates others.

Not only that but the average person knows about 500 people. If you go to a church that has 200 people then look that’s 200 people just from church not counting school or other activities you may be involved in, but not everyone is out going I understand so that number may be higer or lower depending how social you are.

But anyways if you let those 200 people that you do know about your blog I’m guessing at least half if you asked them to would subscribe. So bam you could start off with 100 subscibers which is cool plus since they know you it’s very likely that what you write about they will respond in various ways. They could comment about it or even better share it on social networks like facebook ect.

Here’s the thing. To make money online going at it this way you must be ok with what you are doing on your blog because anyone especially your friends are reading it or have the chance of seeing it so when it comes the making money part just be ok with how you go about it because you may have friends or family ask about what you are doing on your blog.

I have found that just being yourself and writing about your thoughts and adding pictures and video to your personal site really can begin to attract other readers and people that might connect with you and it increases your ability to sell advertising space or utilize google ads.

You can start blogging completely free. www.blogger.com and www.wordpress.com can both set you up. I will say that if you get a free wordpress blog they can shut your blog down if they see you just using it for affiliate marketing or to get other people from one website to another so you may want to consider self hosting at some point.
